This recipe sounds excellent for a fun take on the same old macaroni bake. I think I will make it cream of chicken instead of cream of mushroom since I am allergic to mushrooms. Have you tried cream of celery or some other soup instead of the cream of mushroom in this dish?

This casserole is so easy to make, that it is perfect for those busy weeknights. Those days where you're running on empty and really want something satisfying and hearty, but don't feel like spending all evening in the kitchen! I like the vessel size here - we only have 3 in our family, so this is just the right amount.
