This is a great lightened - up version of a beef shepherd's pie if you are using the ground lamb or turkey! The only thing that I might do differently is to brush the top with a little egg wash or melted butter before baking. This will help to give it a nice golden brown crust.

I like this version of shepard's pie. You can make a great dish that is classic for comfort all while being health conscious. What a great mix of the two ends of the spectrum to create something that satisfies both areas of hunger. Now, do you have a fix for healthy chocolate desserts?
