Deconstructed Bacon Cheeseburger Casserole
Deconstructed Bacon Cheeseburger Casserole has everything you would find in a bacon cheeseburger (including the bun) in the form of a casserole. A savory mix of ground beef, onions, and plenty of cheese is surrounded by balls of store-bought French bread dough. This casserole is the perfect combination of homemade and shortcut, so it doesn't take too long to prepare, but it tastes homemade. This recipe can be enjoyed as an appetizer or as dinner alongside a salad. If you love bacon cheeseburgers, you won't want to miss out on this casserole recipe.

I have no idea why deconstructed recipes are so much fun. I have to agree with CeciliaKo that everyone has to love beef, cheese, and bacon, I mean, everyone loves bacon. It looks really fun to serve and have with a side salad or some fresh steamed broccoli, don't you think?

This casserole looks yummy! Ingredients used are my kids favorite. Who doesnt like beef, bacon and cheese, right? ) But Id like my buns fresh, not frozen store bought. So I will try to make the buns from scratch, using one of my bun recipes. Hope one of them works well with this recipe. )

I've never tried store-bought French bread dough before, but you can't go wrong with freshly baked bread. This recipe would make a fun movie night meal!
