This recipe sounds really good. Can you substitute applesauce for the oil in this recipe. I am trying to stay away from some of the vegetable oil in dishes I serve. Could you use canola or olive oil possibly? I think it would make the recipe a lot lighter tasting too if it would work.

Hi SissieSass, I wouldn't suggest using applesauce in this recipe. Pureed banana might work as a substitute for oil, since it would pair better with the peanut butter and chocolate.
