This is actually quite similar to the way I make bolognese! I love the combo like Edmund said -- it makes for some great flavor

Yum! I love the fact that this recipe calls for a mix of ground beef and ground pork. The combination of the two always seems to produce a better result than just using one or the other. There's a suggestion buried down in the comments about adding some diced green pepper, which is one of my usual additions to dishes like this. Besides the mozzarella cheese, I think I'd also give each serving a good sprinkling of grated Parmesan.
