This starter kit contains 3 round cake pans (9-, 8-, and 6-inch diameters), an icing spatula, cake tester, buttercream fondant, fondant smoother, 12 piece fondant cutter set, and icing bags. It puts you on the right track in the world of baking.

I tested this baking kit with Duff Goldman's Red Velvet Premium Cake Mix, and I loved every minute of it. The cake was easy to make, and it baked evenly in the 8- and 9-inch pans. Then came the fun part. I had never used fondant before, but Duff's instructions were easy to understand so it wasn't hard to use. I frosted the cakes with the help of the icing spatula and decorated them with fondant shapes I made with the fondant cutter set.
