Bridled Noodles
Bridled Noodles is a traditional Pennsylvania Dutch recipe that's so easy to make, you might not believe it. The noodles are topped with bread crumbs, and can be served with or without gravy. This comfort food is simple to make, so you won't have to scramble to get dinner on the table. It's traditionally served at Thanksgiving (hence the gravy), but it can really be made any time. If you want to try something new that's not too crazy, take a stab at this pasta casserole.

This Bridled Noodles recipe is a great little recipe any time of the year. I love buttered wide egg noodles, and the addition of buttered bread crumbs really steps it up a notch. I served it with jarred turkey gravy on the side (since it's not Thanksgiving), and it worked out great. Give this recipe a try the next time you want a simple little comfort food dinner for your family, you won't be disappointed.

This recipe is quick and easy, and delicious to boot. Noodles are a Thanksgiving tradition in this mid-west area, not only with the local Amish. I tried this with homemade noodles that I rolled out very thin before cutting them. Turned out perfectly. We enjoyed them with grilled chicken and no gravy. This would be a nice dish to take to a potluck dinner.
