Simple recipes are sometimes the absolute best. My wife loves pork and beans as well as bologna, so I can see this getting a tryout at our house. Not a huge fan of either, myself, so I'd like to try substituting an extra can of chili for the pork and beans and replacing the bologna with some other leftover meat, like chicken, for instance.

Depression recipes are always helpful today. This is no exception although I am not a fan of bologna. I will substitute another thin sliced meat. I like the addition of the two different flavored beans. It will add a nice touch. And cheese on anything is a plus. Thank you.
