Baked Broccoli Macaroni and Cheese

- 1 pound elbow macaroni, cooked
- 1 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 3 tablespoons salted butter, melted
- 2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese, divided
- 1 1/2 cup shredded Italian blend cheese
- 1 1/2 cup broccoli, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes (optional)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

In a large mixing bowl, add the egg and lightly beat it.

Pour in the milk and melted butter. Whisk the ingredients.

Add the pasta, broccoli, 1 cup Cheddar cheese, 1 1/2 cup Italian blend cheese, and seasonings. Fold in all of the ingredients.

Place the macaroni mixture into a large casserole dish, and sprinkle 1 cup of Cheddar cheese on top.

Bake uncovered for 25 to 30 minutes. Let the casserole stand for 5 minutes before serving.
