Heath Bar Poke Cake
If you're one of those people who believe it's not dessert unless there is chocolate in it, this recipe is for you! This Heath Bar Poke Cake starts with a layer of chocolate cake that is poked with holes. This is done so that sweetened condensed milk and caramel sauce can seep into the cake as it cools. Once the chocolate cake has absorbed this rich and delicious mixture, the whole thing is frosted with whipped topping and Heath bar bits. This is one chocolate dessert recipe meant to satisfy your sweet tooth. It will soon become an easy chocolate dessert you make for all occasions.

Do you leave any time between adding the sweetened condensed milk and the caramel sauce, or do you add them both while hot? I cannot wait to make this dessert and see what my family thinks because even my hubby likes caramel desserts. I can see a few friends that would like to get a surprise gift of cake too.

Hi SissieSass, the sweetened condensed milk and the caramel sauce should both be added while the cake is hot. - Natalie, Editor of AllFreeCasseroleRecipes
