Chocolate Pecan Oatmeal Cookie Pie
If you've never had a cookie pie, you're seriously missing out. Cookies are great, but baking the dough in a pie dish takes dessert to a whole new level. This Chocolate Pecan Oatmeal Cookie Pie is crisp around the edges, but perfectly gooey and warm in the center. The dough is chock full of pecans, chocolate chips, and oats for incredible texture and flavor. This chocolate dessert is super easy because you don't have to roll out individual cookies or make sure each batch cooks evenly. This cookie pie takes much less time and still serves a crowd. You will absolutely love the way this oatmeal cookie recipe tastes, but it is even better served warm and with a scoop of salted caramel ice cream on top.

Do you think I can either omit the pecans in this recipe? I was hoping if not that I could use peanuts or sunflower seeds since my daughter is deathly allergic to tree nuts. I think it would work good either way, but I am partial to using honey roasted peanuts. Do you think they would work well in this case?

Hi SissieSass, substituting them with peanuts should be fine. You might also be able to substitute them with additional chocolate chips. - Natalie, Editor of AllFreeCasseroleRecipes
