Can I whisk the strawberries to make the puree? I only have a hand mixer and no blender to use. I think this sounds like an excellent stay-in date night with the hubby kind of dessert. It is decadent enough to feed each other over a candle or two, yet sweet enough to cure that flavor you want.

Hi SissieSass, I don't think a whisk would work to make the puree. It might be better to slice the strawberries and then mash them with a fork. - Natalie, Editor of AllFreeCasseroleRecipes
