This is more of a stew than a casserolewhich is just fine by me. It eliminates all the unnecessary, more unhealthy components of a casserole, like breadcrumbs. Plus, pineapple is my absolute favorite topping for meatit's so unexpected and fresh on an otherwise heavy dish.
