This Strawberry Cream Cheese French Toast Casserole will definitely make it easier to wake up in the morning. This French toast casserole is stuffed with strawberries and cream cheese which creates a custard-like filling. If that doesn't entice you, nothing will! This recipe can be made with different kinds of fruit such as apples, raspberries, blueberries, or even bananas. Then, assemble the casserole by placing a layer of bread in the bottom of a pan and topping it with strawberries and cream cheese. Finally, add another layer of bread and pour on the egg mixture. In the morning, bake it in the oven and enjoy!

This sounds like the perfect recipe to serve up for a special family breakfast occasion. These days everyone is counting calories and this is obviously not the best choice for a regular breakfast, or dessert, meal. But for that special occasion - that little bit of decadence that we all need and crave from time to time, this fits the bill perfectly. I suppose you could even use frozen berries as they would thaw out during the night in the fridge?
