Good idea! I think I'd have to do a double batch so I didn't end up with 1/2 a leftover banana, though. Has anyone tried this with chocolate chips or other additions?

Wow, I didn't know bread in the microwave was possible! I bake banana bread all of the time, to use up my bananas that have gone bad. This sounds like a great alternative when I don't have an hour to bake, but still want to enjoy some yummy homemade bread.

I really liked this recipe. It's nice to have the option to make an individual serving instead of baking an entire loaf. The bread was a little dry at the top and more moist and cake-like at the bottom of the mug, but I think that's just what you have to deal with when

I loved every bite of this! SO much easier than making a whole loaf of banana bread, but the same great taste! With almonds added on top, it's perfect!
