I made a recipe quite like this before that I saw in a magazine - I'm pretty sure it was an advertisement for Hillshire Farm. We really enjoyed it, but it is quite heavy and rich. I like to lighten it up a little bit by using turkey or chicken smoked sausage, and serve it with a simple green salad on the side with a light balsamic vinaigrette.
