Freezable Company Casserole
As the name suggests, Freezable Company Casserole is a freezer-friendly casserole that is also impressive enough to serve to company. This pasta recipe is different from other Italian casseroles because the sauce is made with cream cheese and cottage cheese. If you're making this casserole ahead of time, simply layer all the ingredients in the casserole dish and store it in the fridge or the freezer. This casserole is truly incredible, so if you serve to company, they will definitely be asking you for this recipe!

This sounds like a great dish and I love the idea of making a lot and freezing it for later. Your recipe includes baking times for right away and after refridgeration, but can you tell me how long to bake it from the freezer? I never know how long to do it without it coming out either still cold inside or burnt on the outside.

Hi kenziewood, when you're baking this casserole after freezing it, it's best to let it thaw in the refrigerator before baking it. Then, as the blogger suggests, place the casserole in the oven as it preheats and add 35-40 minutes to the original baking time. I hope that helps! - Natalie, Editor of AllFreeCasseroleRecipes

A 9 x 13 casserole is a little bit much for my family (this dish serves at least people) So I would probably cut the recipe in half when serving just us. The sour cream and cream cheese give the sauce a nice rich flavor, with a little bit of tanginess, and I love the flavors of the green peppers and the mushrooms with the ground beef.
