Once the ground beef mixture has been made, stir in the cream cheese, shredded cheese, and cooked pasta. Then, you can transfer everything to a casserole dish and bake in the oven. I do have to agree that this recipe sounds extremely filling which is what I need around my house. We have three hungry teens that want big meals. Can you make this up and use it a day or two later? I want to make casseroles on Sundays for the school week.

This cheesy pasta casserole is so filling and wholesome - chock full of veggies! I recently made this, but substituted whole wheat macaroni and used pinto beans instead of the kidneys. Using the creamed corn is a great healthy swap out - thanks for the tip! I love the smoked paprika in this dish - I've been using it in just about everything lately.
