The 8 inch knife is a great size for most people. You can chop plenty of large items, while still feeling completely in control of the blade. The ergonomic design means the handle fits comfortably in basically any hand. I loved this since I have small hands and not all handles are easy for me to get a good grip on. This knife is clearly designed with the person using it in mind.
