Tropical Magic Bars
Magic cookie bars are delicious treats, so it only makes sense to make a tropical version. These Tropical Magic Bars will not disappoint. Lime zest, coconut M&Ms, macadamia nuts, and shredded coconut make these bars addicting. Add to that a graham cracker crust and you'll find yourself on an island in the sun. They're easy to whip up, so bring them to your next spring party. The guests will be impressed.

Magic cookie bars are my favorite! So much so, that my mom only makes them once a year for my birthday! What do you think would go well in place of the macadamia nuts? My daughter is terribly allergic to tree nuts, but she can have sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, and peanuts. This recipe sounds like a wonderful take on my favorite cookie bars.

Hi SissieSass, peanuts might be a good substitute in this recipe. Or, you could leave the nuts out entirely and replace them with additional M & Ms and/or white chocolate chips. I hope that helps! - Natalie, Editor of AllFreeCasseroleRecipes
