Red, White, and Blue Poke Cake
Red, White, and Blue Poke Cake is one of the best Fourth of July recipes. It's covered all the bases - red: strawberries; white: frosting; and blue: blueberries. Just think of how you'll feel when your fellow party guests see what you've created. They'll love both the looks and taste. The best part about this poke cake recipe is that it's easy to make. It may look complicated, but it's really not.

I was thinking that this recipe might be a little too sweet for me. Could I swap the sweetened condensed milk for pudding? I know we do a lot of pudding cakes, so I imagine this would be an easy swap. I love the decorating with fresh fruit on the top because it makes the dish so festive. My mom used to make something similar every Independence Day.

Hi SissieSass, yes I think you could definitely replace the sweetened condensed milk with a box of pudding mix. I'd go with vanilla or maybe even cheesecake flavored pudding. - Natalie, Editor of AllFreeCasseroleRecipes

Let that sugar flag fly! I can't wait to make this sweet dessert for my next family gathering. The fruit adds natural sweetness to the amazing cakey goodness.

I'm not usually a fan of red velvet cake (because it tastes like a cop out/less flavorful version of chocolate cake), but I thought it was the perfect complement to the fruity flavors in this treat. I could definitely go for another slice!
