I absolutely love the idea of this Hubby's Boston Cream Delight for a sweet treat or dessert! My only problem is, I can't get graham crackers where I live so I am wondering if there is some other kind of base that can be used instead of a graham cracker?

Do you set the dessert out to get to room temperature while you are making the ganache? I want it to set up good, but I don't want it to end up runny. My kids love Boston Cream Pie so I know they will love this dessert, and it is made from scratch. Love it!
