Apple Streusel Bars
If you like apple recipes, then you will love these apple bar desserts!
Are you wondering what to do with apples this time of year? There are so many recipes with apples that it's hard to pick just one. Your decision can be right now. Make these Apple Streusel Bars. They are thick, crumbly, and sweet. They have a sugary glaze, but it can be left out because the bars are so sweet on their own. The apple pie filling is so delicious, you'll want to eat the whole batch.

This dessert looks like something you could have for breakfast. I know my kids love apple danish and crumb cakes with apples, so I have no doubts that this one will be a favorite too. I love that you give the directions to crumble the dough with the knives. We always use two forks to incorporate the butter after we cut the butter into slices. Have you ever tried it that way?

These bars look amazing. I like the idea of a flaky apple dessert that is easier (and quicker) than making a pie.

I made these this morning for our bible study group and I made them in the 9X11 cake pan and there was 9 of us in the study and I didn't have any left over to bring home. These are delicious. topeka4936
