    This apple pie lasagna looks quite intriguing. I think I would prefer the more traditional version, but you never know!

    Have you ever tried using some of the lemon zest in this recipe? I know in some dishes, the zest adds a bright zing of flavor, but it may be too much for this dish. I try to use up the zest and the juice, but I can always freeze the zest in this case.
