Dump and bake dishes are always a great timesaver and my wife has made chicken and rice dishes similar to this. I'm interested in giving this a go since it contains french onion soup mix as well as Gruyere cheese. We have a wedge of Jarlsberg cheese which I might try out in place of the Gruyere. Someone commented that baby swiss also works well if Gruyere isn't at hand.
