I made this last night and it was delicious!! I left out the chocolate and used a few shakes of cinnamon instead. And since I didn't have oven safe mugs, I just baked it in a small glass loaf pan. It's not overly sweet, so it was great with vanilla ice cream. I will definitely be making this again!

I love this idea. Sometimes I don't feel like making a full recipe but my fianc wants something sweet. Bread pudding happens to be one of his favorite requests so this will be a quick and easy fix to satisfy his sweet tooth. I like that it can be totally customizable to both of our tastes for instance, my fianc doesn't like chocolate that much so I could make a whisky sauce version for him and keep the chocolate version for myself. I see maybe a few of these small batch bread puddings in our future for this cold winter! Thanks for sharing this recipe.
