Lundberg Sprouted Risotto comes in three delicious varieties: Cheddar & Peppers, Sweet Corn & Bell Pepper, and Butter & Chive. The boxed risotto is extremely easy to make in just a couple steps. You can serve the risotto as a main dish, side dish, or in a casserole recipe.
Risotto can be a really time-consuming and labor intensive food to cook from scratch. I love that this boxed risotto does not require constant attention. It is simple to make with just the contents of the box, water, a small amount of milk, and butter. It is great that you don't need to use stock or broth, which you may not have on hand and can be expensive.
Each of the boxes has a unique flavor profile. I was incredibly impressed by how creamy the risotto turned out; no one could believe it came from a box. I am more of a traditional risotto fan, so my favorite was the Butter & Chive Risotto. I really liked using all of the flavors with casserole recipes. The Cheddar & Peppers variety pairs wonderfully with chicken casserole recipes.
