They pride themselves on sourcing domestic sea salt from the Charleston area and using solar energy to dry the salt. Each of their salts has a unique flavor profile and texture that delights the palate.
Three of their salts come in grinders: The Charleston Sea Salt, Smoked Sea Salt, and Red Mash Sea Salt. The Charleston Sea Salt grinder has large rocks of salt with a pure flavor. The Smoked Sea Salt is one of the most unique ingredients I have ever tried. It has a deep smoky flavor that can be added to just about any dish. The Red Mash Sea Salt incorporates Fresno Chili Flakes to add a kick to anything you season with it. The grinders are clear so you know when you are running low.
The Carolina Flake and Bourbon Barrel Smoked Flake come in 4-ounce jars. The Carolina Flake is a great seasoning salt. It is already in small granules so you can easily take a pinch and add it to a dish. The Bourbon Barrel Smoked Flake is also ready to be added to any dish. It is especially tasty added to French fries or even baked beans!
The Carolina Margarita Salt is a super-fine flake, which is perfect for a delicious margarita served in a salt rimmed glass! The container is made so you can spread the salt out and coat the rim of a glass.
