Sun dried tomatoes are one of our favorite ingredients. The best part about them is that they can be used so well in canned and dried goods. Mooney Farms produces some of the best tomatoes and they use their great product in a number of other canned and dried products. Their line of Bella Sun Luca sauces and products is outstanding. We tried the Bella Sun Luci Sun Dried Tomato Risotto and Bella Sun Luci Tomato and Artichoke Pasta Sauce.

The Bella Sun Luci Sun Dried Tomato Risotto may be our new favorite, go-to side dish. It is incredibly simple to make with just chicken broth, parmesan, and butter. This risotto could easily be served as a main dish with the addition of sausage, beans, chicken, or anything you want! For a vegetarian, use vegetable broth for the perfect, hearty meal. The flavor of the sun-dried tomatoes works exceptionally with the herbs used in the risotto mix. We couldn't get enough of this risotto, and can't wait to make another batch!

The Bella Sun Luci Tomato and Artichoke Pasta Sauce is a great pasta sauce to keep on hand at all times. Chunks of artichoke hearts are combined with the tomatoes straight from Mooney Farms to create a hearty pasta sauce to use any night of the week. This sauce worked fantastic with a larger pasta, like rotini. The sauce is hearty and robust in flavor. This is the perfect pasta sauce to use when you want a simple, cozy meal.

We loved both of these Bella Sun Luci products and can see them both becoming go-to dinner options. The flavors of both are incredible because of the fresh Mooney Farms tomatoes and the Italian herbs used. They make great stand-by meals for vegetarians and meat-eaters alike!
