It's hard to say which part is better of Red Velvet Gooey Butter Cake: the cake or the frosting. Although a red velvet cake serves as the base, many believe the frosting really puts it over the top. It's gooey and buttery, as the name implies, due to cream cheese, butter, and a few other things. This cake is absolutely amazing, and is especially perfect for Valentine's Day.
