Copycat Restaurant Recipes
Copycat restaurant recipes are different from ordinary dinner recipes. They give you the opportunity to become a restaurant chef, if just for one night. These recipes may not taste exactly like the originals, but that's okay because they're even better. Why? Because they have something that the restaurant versions don't: you. By making these recipes at home, you're giving them your special touch. In this chapter of the eCookbook, you'll find recipes from Pizza Hut, Applebee's, Olive Garden, Boston Market, and more.
Baked Pasta with Romana Beef (p. 10, shown) - This comfort food from Olive Garden would be perfect if you have some time on your hands (Sunday would be a great day). The brisket and pasta make an excellent combination that's perfect to share with the whole family.
Copycat Applebee's Spinach Artichoke Dip (p. 8) - If you're looking for the perfect party appetizer, this copycat Applebee's recipe will fit the bill. The cheesy goodness of this baked dip will have your guests thinking that you ordered out!
Orange Chicken Chinese Casserole (p.9, shown) - Our Test Kitchen recipe calls for just 6 simple ingredients, so it's easy to keep the ingredients on hand. The whole family will be asking you to make this recipe again and again!

Copycat Dessert Recipes
The last chapter of this eCookbook is all about dessert. Desserts are some people's favorite foods, so we couldn't just not include them. We have two special recipes that we think you're going to love. One is ideal for summer, while the other is ideal for winter.
No-Bake Must-Make Buster Bars Casserole (p. 21) This dessert is adapted from Dairy Queen's Peanut Buster Parfait. This ice cream treat has been turned into a casserole and is the perfect summer dessert.
Cranberry Bliss Bars (p. 22). This copycat Starbucks dessert is tasty, and it looks pretty, too. Red cranberries are mixed into the white batter and are also sprinkled on top. The red adds a pop of color that makes this treat festive for Christmas.

MMM! The Olive Garden baked pasta is rich with its heavy cream sauce and craft cheeses, but this is the dish you want to make for a special occasion to impress!

Applebee's Spinach Artichoke is simple to make and much better than buying frozen premade. With a jar of alfredo sauce and a jar of artichokes and a bag of frozen spinach, you can make it in a few minutes. Just make sure to have a good bakery bread to toast for dipping.

I call this ziti, but whatever you call it, it's good and a lot easier than lasagna. I've even made it without boiling the ziti pasta first and it's just fine, especially if you make it ahead of time, the pasta softens even more soaking in the sauce in the frig. You will need to add more sauce, or what works better, is just thinning the sauce with a little water. You can also elevate by sprinkling some ricotta on the top then mozzo and smoked provolone cheese. Who needs to slave away making lasagna when you can do it this way! )
