I almost want to go out and buy one of these spaetzle makers just so I can make dishes like this. So cheesy and comforting, this recipe brings back warm memories of my German grandmother. She lived rather far away, but whenever my family would make the three hour drive to visit, we were treated to these wonderful dumplings. Rainbow chard would be really pretty to use in this dish. If Oma were alive today, she would definitely approve of this wonderful casserole recipe!
