Dexas Spoon and Strain Tongs Review

This set of Dexas Spoon and Strain Tongs is incredibly handy when making or serving a variety of recipes. One side of the tongs has slots, while the other does not, allowing you to control how you handle your food. The spoon end of the tool holds 2 tablespoons worth of food, making it simple to measure portions as you are serving food.



I love how these tongs feel in your hand. Soft grips, plus indentations for your thumb and fingers, make controlling the tongs easy and comfortable. The addition of a hanging loop that serves as a lock for the tool is also a nice addition to the design. 



I found this tool particularly handy and an improvement on the tongs I am used to using. Serving pasta was much easier because I was able to grab the right amount of sauce without over or under doing it.  I also liked using them to break apart and serve pulled pork. I was able to separate the juices because of the strainer, and then add them back on top of the meat using the spoon end of the tongs.



The thought-out design and functionality of this tool makes it a great addition to any kitchen. I know I will be keeping it nearby whenever I cook!
