  • 4 slice bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup Gruyere cheese, grated
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon chives, snipped into little bits (reserve 2 strands to make the "x" on top of the quiche)
